Alterations- CK Ellace in cup quad

How I fixed the in cup quadding due to not enough tension on the stretch lace of my CK Ellace
  1. Here you can see the quad. Way worse on my smaller size. Obviously due to how the lace is tensioned.

  2. Here it is close up...

  3. But when I pull the top of the lace in towards the gore it fixes the quad.

  4. I need shorter wires so I replaced them with 30HH Panache Ariza wires. Here you can see that in this size the CK wires are the same width but taller everywhere. This is why their grading works well for us larger ladies. I need this width but shorter wires, especially at the center, because my tissue pushes the gore out and destabilizes the whole bra.

  5. I folded the gore and side over.

  6. Folding the gore over allows center room but closes the top edge.

  8. Folded over and stitched at the wire. Now my armpits don't chafe and the wires don't poke when I lean over.

  9. Gore folded over and stitched down. But it would also be easy to just pull the lace in and stitch it to lessen quadding.
