I may have gotten some bad intel on this bra. I was stuck between this one and the Parfait By Affinitas Casey (2801) ; coincidentally they both went on sale for about half the original price, so I decided to try both. I read a ton of reviews on a bunch of sites that said the band ran tight and the cups were small, so I decided to get a 30G (I was resized at a 28G and recently I've been branching out into 30FFs and having some success there as well). The band fit fine, but the cups felt a little too large, and the straps were spaced much too far apart for me--even after adjusting them to the right length and getting everything settled, it just felt really uncomfortable, and the straps just felt...wrong. Like, 'my shoulders hate me right now and I don't know if I should be shrugging or slouching to make this feel better,' wrong. On top of that, the outer edge of the cups cut in under my arms (at first I thought it was the underwire but it's the cup itself), and the inner edge of the cups come up too high to be worn under my deep v-neck tees, which is what I bought the bra for in the first place. It didn't give me much of a cleavage boost, but it also didn't push me out to the sides or flatten me, which was nice. If not for the fact that the plunge isn't quite plunge enough, I'd try it in the 30FF.

Appearance-wise, this is good, plain bra. It's got a little charm on the gore, but that's about all the decoration you get. It's nice and simple, smooth against the skin and under shirts, and it looks to be of very good quality. Unfortunately it just won't work for my purposes.

This bra is not owned any more

  • i'm one of those who would have said cups and band run smaller. I base it off of cleos because the unlined cleos have been the most standard for me. pretty much anyone i pick i can use a 30F or 32E. In the Jeanie and Casey I need a 32F. Probably a 32E and a half would be a better fit yet but they dont make it unfortunately!

  • That's a really good point! I based the fit off of my molded Cleos because I seem to have no luck with unlined bras; a 28G is usually too wrinkly towards the top, a 28FF quads terribly and not everything fits in the cups, and a 30FF tends to feel unsupportive. Thinking about it now, I can definitely see how the cups might feel small if you typically wear unlined bras.
