Bodysuits

The bodysuit trend is not going anywhere anytime soon. I like never having to worry about my top riding up and how nicely a bodysuit looks with jeans, tailored pants, or a skirt.

I've slowly been trying to work up the courage to transition from solid Capezio bodysuits (that you can wear a bra underneath) to the partially and fully sheer variety.

I love the aesthetic of pairing a delicate sheer bodysuit with bold pants or statement accessories and shoes. It makes me feel very chic and gives me the illusion of being tall (I'm 5'1").

What I don't love is how I look braless in these bodysuits. Without the help of underwire or structured cups, the sagging and shape of my slightly tuberous breasts is very obvious.

How do others wear semi-and fully sheer bodysuits when going out? Is there anything that can be done to draw attention away from my bust and to the outfit as a whole?

  • I think it would be difficult to fit into a bodysuit, I'm 5'7, so I'm thinking...I'm worried that it would be an issue of torso length.

  • Is Capezio the dance wear brand? I do ballet and their quality is good. They used to have a Bra-tek leotard with built in cups and adjustable straps but it's been discontinued.
I own a lot of sheer leotards and I don't wear a bra when I dance. But I've found that the most supportive ones have some fabric where the bra band sits, so they kind of hold your boobs in place in the front.
