It finally happened ...
I finally broke my first well fitting bra. I apologize if I almost sound proud of myself, I'm actually more surprised than anything. I was wearing my Gossard Superboost Satin Plunge at work one day when I noticed my strap was slipping off my right shoulder. Realizing that I hadn't tightened the strap (I tend to not wear my bras tight enough in general, but let's save that sacriligious topic for a different adventure ) I went to the ladies room to adjust the strap. As I was pulling the adjusted strap over my shoulder, the clasp suddenly gave out and snapped in half. I had always thought it was made of metal given the gold tone. But no, it's definitely plastic. Good to know that after the fact. I ran home clutching my boobs with my arms feeling as if all eyes were on me. In retrospect, I think I would have garnered less attention if I'd just been walking calmly home without that look of panic on my face >__<
So does anyone know where I can get a replacement piece like this?

And on a brighter note, am I finally part of the club now? ^_^

I've had that happen to me in several tank/cami tops, two I actually know had metal adjusters but they warped over time in the dryer. Not yet with a bra, but I'm expecting it any time now that I've mentioned it.
Etsy, eBay, a handful of online sewing/bra supply shops. They're usually called slide adjusters or bra slides. Shipping is likely to be least on etsy or eBay, just make sure it's a seller in your country if you need it fast. Jo-Ann Fabrics does not sell them, unless you want tiny plastic ones that might fit training bras :-P
